When: June 28-29
Where: Hyde Park, London
What: Not quite as heavy as the name would have you believe - it's certainly no Download Festival - but the Hard Rock Calling Festival is still smothered with enough guitar licks and drums beats to quench even the most voracious rock thirst. The huge Hyde Park hosts the third Calling festival with two stages boasting the big hitters, from Eric Clapton to KT Tunstall and a bandstand to cram in as much talent as possible over the two days. There isn't any camping on site but it's right by Marble Arch tube station so, for Londoners, it's easy to get to - or stagger from.
Tickets: £110 for a weekend ticket. £50 for Saturday day tickets. £65 for Sunday day tickets. There isn't any camping on Hyde Park and the ticket prices don't include accommodation.
