When: August 1 - 3
Where: Belongil Fields, Byron Bay, Australia
What: The festival is on the top of most Australian music fan's wish-lists, which combined with the event's relatively small capacity, is an achievement in itself. This year's festival will be the eighth Splendour In the Grass. The two-day event hosts 17,500 people, has sold out in advance every year and given that it's hosted the likes of the Arctic Monkeys and Coldplay in the past and this year boasts Vampire Weekend, The Vines and Lightspeed Champion it's no wonder.
Tickets: $199 (£95) weekend tickets without camping plus $9.00 (£4) booking fee. You can get a green (or carbon offset) ticket without camping for $206 (£98) plus $9.00 booking fee. The extra $7 is to neutralise the average carbon emissions you'll cause over a 48 hour period (not just with travel). $132 (£63) for weekend tickets with camping plus $7 (£3) booking fee. This ticket entitles you to camp from 9am Friday until Monday morning. This festival has sold out.
