Babyshambles' bandmates are forced to apologise on behalf of their singer
Pete Doherty failed to show for a festival appearance in Salzburg, Austria last Saturday (August 16), after he apparently missed his flight.
Doherty's Babyshambles bandmates Adam Ficek, Drew McConnell and Mik Whitnall all arrived at the FM4 Frequency Festival, but were forced to apologise on behalf of their singer.
Despite all having solo projects, the rest of the band did not perform sans-Doherty.
In a statement, Ficek said: "Drew, Mik and myself can only apologise to those who came to see us today. Peter has missed the flight, we are in Salzburg, with no Peter, We will head to the festival and apologise on stage.. Adam".
Babyshambles are set to headline the NME/Radio 1 Stage at the Reading And Leeds Festivals this weekend (22-24 August).
