Ozzy Osbourne has been awarded libel damages from the Daily Star newspaper after they falsely accused him of having a health scare that jeopardised this year's Brit Awards, which he co-presented. The newspaper wrongly claimed that Osbourne collapsed twice before the awards ceremony, which took place in London’s Earl's Court in February. The singer has indicated that the damages will be donated to his wife Sharon Osbourne's colon cancer charity.
