Viva La Vida

Or, ‘The Good One From The New Album’. Achingly earnest it may be, but when Laughin’ Chris Martin finally slips into the inevitable Christ pose that accompanies the wave-your-breadsticks-and-M&S-houmous-in-the-air coda it’s hard not to share his desire for a better world, or something. It’s the closest they’ve come to replicating the simple majesty of ‘Clocks’ and subliminally suggests MUST BUY NEW iPOD MUST BUY NEW iPOD MUST BUY...

This guy must be up for the 'Most Consistently Bad Reviewer' award. What exactly does this man get paid for, cos it surely can't be for this.

If you don't like the reviews on here then press the red button with the 'x' on it in the top right hand corner of your screen and never come back. No-one's forcing you to read these reviews and offending the people providing you with a free and optional services is immature and plain rude. For all of you calling this a juvenile review why don't you have a think about what it is you yourselves are doing.

i love this tune. its the only coldplay tune i really like. i hate violet hill, and pretty much all their old trakcs, but i find this very catchy.i don't think you have to be 'indie' or anything like that to be on NME, i think it's just about the greatness of the song.and despite other comments, i still find this an amazing song.i think the only downfall is it's looped. it seems to repeat alot, hich i hate.but apart from that, 8/10.
