Expectations

Punk-funky frolics in the vein of a Kiwi We Are Scientists with a nice breathless rhythm and melodic bassline, for about that bit on the dancefloor where you wouldn’t quite go to the bar yet, but you would start to feel your feet hurting. “All these expectations keep on pulling at me”, frets singer Nick. Really? Nice boys, but expectations are the last thing we’d expect them to be burdened with.

this is a band on the verge of making a really good album. 4/5 for this song, but "still fond" and "you and I" are their best songs. I agree they sound similar to we are scientists which is definitely a good thing.
