Dizzee Rascal Carling Leeds Festival weekend 2006

Flex

An ode to the noble art of shaking one’s behind, ‘Flex’ sees Dizzee deciding to get all jazzy on our ass. It’s a two-step samba that would work just as well blaring from the soundsystems of the Rio carnival as it would tinnily making its way out of the shonky speakers of a 3G phone from the back seats of the 55 bus. Dizzee also proves here that he’s nothing less than a gentleman of chivalrous stature; indeed, growling lines like,
“I love it when I see a pretty girl winding/I can even watch a butters girl grinding”. We can hear the ladies swooning already.
