The Little Ones
The Little Ones
Morning Tide
There’s a thin line betwixt twee and hate, but luckily The Little Ones manage to stay just about inside the safe zone. When ‘Morning Tide’ kicks off, with its prissy “doo-doo” chants, it sounds like it could be hairslides and rayon cardigans at dawn, but soon enough glistening guitars come to the rescue and before you know it they’re doling out lightweight, late-Smashing Pumpkins-style indie pop. Close one, chaps.
